Vision, Purpose, Mission

I came across a great site called Micronutrient.org that distributes vitamins and minerals around the world to impoverished people and those in need. Their program focuses on delivering vitamin A and zinc to increase child survival; iodine and iron to help with a child´s mental development, improve women´s health and contribute to the general health of a population; and folic acid to prevent birth defects. Last year alone they supported programs that reached almost 500 million people in over 70 countries. To learn more about their programs click here. Success stories.

Thank-you for this information!

It is very encouraging to see so many helping in ways I would never have dreamed of...

Sometimes even during the worst of times there are people who's hearts are just so big and they have a genuine concern for others and will help in any way possible.

I consider you one of those people.

Keep posting! It sure helps!
